As the host state of the MSSC, Arkansas OCSE is pleased that it has loaded over 37,000 previously unknown verified insurance segments since 2005. Nebraska joined the MSSC in May of 2006; the first commercial match generated over 5,000 new insurance segments that were verified and loaded to the child support system…over 13,000 to date. The MSSC received Louisiana’s first Child Support Case file in January 2007. Since that time Louisiana had been provided with more than 21,000 active health insurance segments for their dependent population; the MSSC will begin generating and processing the NMSN for Louisiana in early 2008. As the host state of the CSLN, Rhode Island immediately recognized the benefits to a consortium arrangement; To date RI has loaded more than 1,600 new insurance segments to its child support system resulting from commercial matching and verification as well as the NMSN. Since joining the consortium in June of 2006, South Dakota has received over 2,100 new insurance segments; the MSSC has issued more than 10,000 NMSN’s to date on behalf on the State’s behalf.
